What is brake pad clip ?
Each pad has a fastener to hold it in the caliper. The inner pads snap into the piston, there is a recess in the piston for this clip.
The outer pad has two clips that snap over the caliper body. Then, once everything is assembled, the last thing to install is the anti-rattle clip that holds the caliper down against the knuckle.
